Cable assemblies for gaming, arcade and entertainment machines

We coordinate harnesses, connectors and gaming machine cable assemblies for amusement machines, arcade and entertainment equipment. We work from part numbers, drawings, samples or BOM and confirm the configuration and availability with the manufacturer.

  • Initial commercial response
  • Selected manufacturer
  • Documentation per project
  • Order conditions by part number and manufacturer

What this industry needs

What gaming machine cable assemblies need to withstand in service

An amusement machine can be in service for many hours and concentrate the intervention on the button panel, lighting, power and peripherals. The wiring must correspond to the part number, routing, interface and application conditions defined for the equipment, with identification that makes it easier to order or replace the assembly where appropriate.

  • Wiring blocks identified by function
  • Connectors and materials according to the handling and application expected
  • Lengths and routing that allow intervention without disconnecting everything
  • Identification for ordering or replacing the assembly

Industry requirements

Supply conditions for gaming machine cable assemblies

Each project can require different criteria. They are confirmed with your documentation before quoting.

  • Part number and configuration defined through BOM, drawing, schematic or sample
  • Connectors and materials according to the application and handling expected
  • Lengths and routing compatible with the intervention space
  • Interface or pin-out and manufacturer documentation where applicable
  • Quantity, repeat orders and availability confirmed by the manufacturer

Supply cycle

Gaming machine cable assemblies from manufacture to replacement

The same model may need assemblies during initial manufacture, repeat supply, replacement in the installed base or the study of an alternative when a part number becomes obsolete. The JAIA sector documentation on amusement equipment and internal wiring can serve as a technical reference when it applies to the equipment.

01

Initial manufacture

For a new machine or series, we coordinate the supply from the part number, BOM, drawing, schematic or sample defined by the manufacturer or OEM. The manufacturer makes the assembly according to the configuration and scope agreed.

02

Installed base

When the equipment is already in service, we work from the identified part number or configuration to coordinate new units or replacement assemblies according to the availability confirmed by the manufacturer.

03

Replacement and obsolescence

If a part number is no longer available, a potentially compatible alternative can be studied. Relevant changes in interface, pin-out, length, fixing or configuration are validated by the customer or technical lead where appropriate.

Common applications

Wiring blocks in amusement machines

Most enquiries concentrate on these four blocks.

Wiring for button panels and controls of amusement machines

Wiring for buttons, push-buttons, joysticks, controllers and interaction switches, according to the part number, schematic or pin-out defined for the equipment.

When the equipment uses JAMMA or another interface or pin-out defined by the manufacturer, the harness must correspond to the specific configuration; universal compatibility between machines is not assumed.

Lighting and signalling

Cable assemblies for lighting, indicators and signalling of the equipment, with connections, routing and application conditions defined according to the project.

Internal power supply

Power interconnection between supply, boards and peripherals of the machine, according to the schematic, connectors and part numbers agreed.

Spare assemblies

Identified harnesses or assemblies to replace a specific configuration in the installed base, subject to confirmed documentation and availability.

How we work for this industry

How we coordinate the supply for manufacturers and operators

It serves both new manufacture and maintaining an installed base, with a confirmed part number and availability.

1

We review the part number and documentation

We review the model, version, part number, BOM, drawing, sample and, where applicable, the interface or pin-out defined by the customer or OEM.

2

We identify the assembly to supply

We review which assembly the project needs and coordinate the supply from the part number, drawing, sample or documentation defined by the customer or OEM.

3

Validation by the customer or technical lead

When the project requires it, the customer or technical lead validates the sample, configuration or change on the equipment. Justicia Marin coordinates the supply and the agreed documentation with the manufacturer.

4

Supply and replacement according to availability

We coordinate the supply of the identified part number or configuration and replacements for as long as the manufacturer can maintain it. If it becomes obsolete or unavailable, an alternative can be studied for the customer to assess and validate the change where appropriate.

What we actually do in this industry

Justicia Marin is a distributor: we understand the requirement and coordinate the supply through a network of manufacturers. The manufacturer makes the assemblies and carries out the agreed tests or checks where appropriate. Justicia Marin coordinates the agreed documentation. We do not manufacture machines or cable assemblies, we have no warehouse or laboratory of our own and we issue no certificates; certificates are always those of the relevant manufacturer or supplier. We do not take part in machine design, software, prize control systems, full approval or repair on the arcade floor. Our scope is the coordinated supply of components, connectors and electrical assemblies.
